ABOUT
ME
“Play is really the work of childhood” Jean Piaget
My interest in child development began while completing a bachelor's degree in psychology at York University in June 2008. Work and volunteer experiences supporting elementary and high school aged children with various physical, psychological, intellectual, and socioemotional challenges obtain their learning objectives and integrate within the school environment, fostered my passion towards inclusivity for children with special needs. In October 2016, I received a master's degree program occupational therapy.
For the past five years I have been working within a rapidly changing education and healthcare system. During this time, I've developed a unique perspective on how to best support school aged children. I have developed my clinical skills through extensive continuing education and direct clinical practice. The current lack of accessible rehabilitative and healthcare services for children and youth fueled my decision to offer private OT services. In addition, I continue to provide consultative services to clients from underserviced communities. I am a member of the Order of Occupational Therapist in Quebec and Canadian Association of Occupational Therapist.
