ABOUT ME
I am a registered Occupational Therapist. I provide occupational therapy evaluations and interventions for children and youth ages 0-18 years old.

My interest in child development began while completing a bachelor's degree in psychology at York University in June 2008. Work and volunteer experiences supporting elementary and high school aged children with various physical, psychological, intellectual, and socioemotional challenges obtain their learning objectives and integrate within the school environment, fostered my passion towards inclusivity for children with special needs. In October 2016, I received a master's degree program occupational therapy at McGill University.

Services
Assessments, therapy sessions, and consultative services are based on client concerns and generally focus on fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, emotional regulation, visual perceptual skills, visual-motor skills, play and social skills, and independence in personal care activities.
A comprehensive assessment process ensures targeted interventions that are client-centered, relevant, realistic, and fun. Interventions focus on developing independence and employing evidence-based practices using a collaborative approach to skill development. Collaboration with parents and teachers is instrumental to successful interventions. Services can be provided in the clinic, school, or daycare environment.
